Shriram Pistons & Rings Ltd. is a large Auto component manufacturing organization, one of our industrial unit situated at Plot No. SP -1-892 & 893, RIICO Industrial Area, Pathredi, Distt. Alwar (Raj). We have technical collaboration with Kolbenschmidt, Germanny for Pistons, Riken, Japan for Rings, Fuzi, Japan for Engine Valves and Honda Foundry for ‘Casting for Pistons’.
The company has received certification from TUV Nord under ISO/TS16949,2009.ISO14001:2004 and OHSAS 1800:2007 and recently we received 5 Star ratings followed by “SWORD OF HONOUR” by British Safety Council.

Job Description of Workman Trainee:
Selected trainee will undergo a comprehensive training for 3 years period on shop- floor to learn about production, Quality, processes of
1. Safety norms and proper uses of PPE’s ( Personal Protective Equipment)
2. Product awareness and Work instruction Awareness
3. Material Handling and Knowledge about material flow.
4. Awareness about measuring tools
5. Defect identification, Tolerance & offset adjustment.
6. Tool Setting, Tool change over and Model change over
7. Awareness about pneumatic and Hydraulic system ,lubrication system.
8. Why-why analysis ,Trouble shooting , cause and effect relation
9. Awareness about productivity and rejection , knowledge about QC Tools.
10 Corrective & Preventive Action and Independent machine setting.
11 Participation in Different initiative like 5s,KAIZEN ,TPM, Suggestion Scheme
